Emails From SellMyRetro

We send out four types of emails:
a) General Notifications - this happens when you purchase or buy an item on SellMyRetro; to keep you informed about the current price if you are bidding on an auction item (or have listed an item for sale); and to notify you whenever you receive a message from another user on the website. These emails form an essential part of buying and selling on the site and cannot be disabled.

b) Watched Item Notifications - this happens when one of the items you are watching is nearing the end of the listing, or when it is relisted and available to buy again. You can control / limit the number of these emails, under "Watched Items" in your profile on the site. Remove items once you have purchased them or are no longer interested in them.

c) News of new items for sale - this happens when an item which matches one of your selected 'Keyword Watches' is available to purchase or bid on. You can control / limit the number of these emails, by carefully fine tuning the settings under "My Keywords" in your profile on the site.

d) Retro Mailing List - this is a generic email sent at most twice a year to users who are registered on the site. This gives news of new items on SellMyRetro and also tends to include news from RWAP Software (SellMyRetro is part of RWAP Software). To date, you have been able to opt out of this mailing list by using the "Edit my personal data" link from your profile on the site, or replying to the email with REMOVE (in which case we do it for you).
